Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Common Acquire LLC, doing business as Debt Resolution Network (“Debt Resolution Network,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit debt-resolution-network.com (the “Site”) or submit a request through it. It also describes the privacy rights available to you under federal and state law.
Summary: When you submit our form, we share your information with a debt relief company so it can contact you about its programs, and we are paid for doing so. Under some state laws this is a “sale” of personal information. You can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share page.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Identifiers and contact details: first and last name, street address, city, state, ZIP code, email address, and phone number.
- Personal characteristics: date of birth.
- Financial and situational information: estimated amount of unsecured debt, payment status, and employment status.
- Consent records: your agreement to be contacted, the exact consent language shown to you, and the date and time you gave it.
We look up your city and state from your ZIP code using postal data from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0); this lookup happens on our own website and your ZIP code is not sent to GeoNames.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or credit card numbers on this Site.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit.
- Campaign data: advertising parameters in the URL (for example, UTM tags or click identifiers) that tell us which ad or partner referred you.
- Consent verification technology: to document that consumers knowingly agreed to be contacted, we use third-party verification services (such as ActiveProspect TrustedForm and, where enabled, Jornaya). These services record your interactions with our form — including page content, mouse movements, clicks, and keystrokes within form fields — and generate a certificate that may be shared with the companies that contact you. By using the form, you acknowledge and agree to this recording.
- Security data: we may use bot-detection services (such as Cloudflare Turnstile) to protect the Site from fraud and abuse.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy and provide any required choices.
2. How we use information
- To match you with, and share your information with, debt relief companies that can contact you about their services, as you requested.
- To verify your identity, the accuracy of your submission, and your consent to be contacted.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email, consistent with your consent.
- To measure and improve our Site, advertising, and services.
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse, and to secure our systems.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and respond to lawful requests.
3. How we disclose information
- Marketing partners. We disclose your submission (including your contact details, address, date of birth, debt information, and consent record) to the debt relief company or companies listed on our Marketing Partners page so they can contact you. We receive compensation for these disclosures. Partners use your information under their own privacy policies.
- Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, data storage, customer relationship management, consent verification, security, and email/SMS delivery. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
4. Phone calls and text messages
If you give consent, our marketing partners and we may contact you by phone and text, including with automated technology and prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You can revoke consent at any time by any reasonable means, including by replying STOP to a text message, telling the caller, emailing contact@commonacquire.com, or using our privacy request form. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes except with the partners you consented to on our form.
5. Data retention
We keep lead submissions and consent records for as long as needed to provide our services and to demonstrate compliance with telemarketing laws — generally up to five (5) years from the date of submission — and then delete or de-identify them. Opt-out records are kept as long as needed to honor your request.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy choices
- Opt out of sale/sharing: use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): we treat a valid GPC browser signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser.
- Calls, texts, and emails: see Section 4. Email recipients can use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Do Not Call: you may also register at donotcall.gov. Because you provide express written consent through our form, partners may contact you even if your number is on a Do Not Call registry, until you revoke consent.
8. State privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have some or all of the following rights:
- To know or confirm whether we process your personal information, and to access it;
- To obtain a portable copy of your personal information;
- To correct inaccurate personal information;
- To delete personal information we hold about you;
- To opt out of the sale of personal information, “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, and certain profiling;
- To obtain a list of the specific third parties to which we have disclosed personal information (where provided by state law); and
- To not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
How to submit a request: use our online request form or email contact@commonacquire.com. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with information in our records. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity directly. We respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days, which may be extended as permitted).
Appeals: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing contact@commonacquire.com with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond within the time required by law. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
Nevada residents may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information using the same methods.
